YES! thou art fair, yet be not moved To scorn the declaration, That sometimes I in thee have loved My fancy's own creation. -William Wordsworth

Before you read this book, please be aware that I am human, fallen from grace, and I make mistakes. Don’t feel like you have to agree with everything I say. Take it with a grain of salt. You are entitled to your own opinions, but all I ask is that before you judge what I say, line it up with scripture. I believe the Bible is the final authority on all things. In addition to the Bible, test what I say against what your own heart tells you. What is right for me might not be right for you.
If you have a question about something, bring it to wise counsel such as your youth pastor, your parents or a trusted elder at your church. That being said, ask the Lord to open your mind and prepare your heart to learn something as you dive into the pages of this book. I love to make lists. I make lists of movies, books, and music I like, lists of my favorite baby names, things I’m thankful for, people to pray for, things to do before I die, dreams for the future, the lists go on. I’m going to ask you in this book to make a lot of lists because it helps organize your thoughts. If you’d like to keep a journal of your thoughts on the issues in this book, that’s a great way to brainstorm your feelings and solidify your thoughts. Expressing what you think helps you become wise. You can look at your writing years down the line.
